Technical Adviser of Remo Stars Football Club, Osho Fatai, says his team is leaving nothing to chances. He has indicated that Remo Stars will not be carried away by the soul-lifting 1-1 draw they had against defending champions, Rangers, as they host Katsina United on Sunday.

The Sky Blue Stars welcome Katsina United to the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu on Sunday in Match Day 17 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

He remarked that his boys will be very careful going into this particular tie with the Katsina Boys. “Coming from the draw against Rangers International, we have to be careful so that we don’t get complacent since we need all the points we could gather to make further push up the table.

“I have told my players not to be carried away with the 1-1 draw we played with the defending champions because we can’t afford to remove our feet off the gas.”

Speaking about the loss against Katsina United FC during Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four, Osho plays it down by relating the fixture to another setting entirely.

“What we have now is a different setting entirely. No one live by the past in football.  A lot of water have actually passed under the bridge and the result at that time was actually inconsequential at the moment.

“Katsina United is a good side but the competition at this level is so high that one will have to prepare for 38 cup finals in the season and that shows how intense the league is.” Osho remarked.
