Buoyed by the away 1-1 draw with Enugu Rangers, defending champions and one of the power houses of Nigerian football, Remo Stars are confident of getting the maximum points at home as they host Katsina United in one of Match Day 17 fixtures.

Katsina United lost their last game 2-0 against Sunshine Stars Football Club and would go into this fixture with all seriousness to get points on the road. Both Remo Stars and Katsina United met before the commencement of the new season. At the time, Katsina Boys came out victorious after defeating the Sky Blue Stars 3-0 in the first game of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four in Gombe.

This is a new ball game entirely because both teams have new managers stirring the ships. The Sky Blue Stars have enjoyed a good run of form since they fell into the hands of FC IfeanyiUbah in Match Day 8 rescheduled fixture while the Katsina Boys also won last against the defending champion, Enugu Rangers.

The Match Day 17 is going to be an interesting fixture for both sides as Fatai Osho will hope to extend his team’s three games unbeaten record to swim out of the relegation waters and Katsina United will hope to get their first away victory. Fatai Osho’s men should be watchful of Musa Suleiman who is good at delivering balls into the opponent’s goal area.
