LMC Packages Odey’s Dozen Goals

Every season, the Nigeria Professional League throws up a new star. In 2017, the man of the moment has been Stephen Odey of Lagos side, MFM. His striking form has left opposing teams in tears and sorrow.

It is such form that has seen the team that narrowly escaped the drop now contending among the possible league leaders. If the club’s form is sustained in the return legs of the league, MFM might just pick a continental ticket next year.

The sudden resurgence of the club appeared to be tied to the magical boots of Stephen Odey whose goal count hit 12th when he scored a brace in the 2-1 defeat of Rivers United last Wednesday in a rescheduled league match.
