Former Super Eagles’ midfielder and BBC Lions skipper, Moses Kpakor and four others have been appointed into the Technical Committee of Lobi Stars FC in a capacity to assist the coaches with tactical inputs.
They are to act in advisory capacity. Other members of the technical committee approved by the Board of Lobi Stars include Tom Aondona, Emmanuel Orkaa, Peter Akaazua and Fidelis Antyumbe.
The board in a communiqué issued by the club secretary, acknowledged the unwavering commitment of the players and technical staff towards achieving the set target for 2016/2017 league season and came out with some measures to realise the set target.
In spite of the club’s current standing on the League table, players were urged to put in more efforts in their performances considering the high level of competitiveness in the ongoing season, which explains why the North Central derbies involving Lobi Stars, Plateau United and Nasarawa United all ending in draws.
The Board warned any member of the team against sabotaging its resolve to achieving the set objective as such actions will be met with sanctions that might lead to expulsion from the club while also condemned the lackadaisical attitude of some players as noticed in a recent home game.
With an assurance of taking the welfare of players and technical crew as priority, the Board further resolved to introduce more stringent measure that will instil discipline in the team with comportment to the rules and regulations guiding organised football in the country.
