CAF Executive Committee member, Amaju Pinnick of Nigeria has disclosed that a forensic audit of the finances and marketing deals in the organisation will soon be carried out. The latest Nigerian to enter into the continental football ruling body told the Sports Village Square that new committee is already looking into the manifesto delivered by the new president, Ahmad, before the election.
He disclosed that the manifesto will have to be harmonised with the ideas of other members of the executive committee. Amaju Pinnick told the Sports Village Square that the audit to be carried out was not intended to be a witch-hunting exercise.
“Rather, it was necessary for us to know the state of finances of the organisation we are running. We need to know its assets and liabilities and also the marketing contracts binding on us.”
