City Lead Chelsea In Race For Isco
According to UK tabloid, The Sun, Man City are confident of securing a deal for Real Madrid man Isco – with the Citizens reportedly leading the likes of Chelsea and Juventus in the race.
Undoubtedly one of Spain’s most talented players, Isco has struggled to break into the Real Madrid side ahead of the likes of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo and so he could look to seek an exit this summer.
A departure might also make sense for Madrid, with Los Blancos likely to secure a pretty hefty transfer fee for the impressive midfielder.
Isco has found playing time difficult to come by at the Bernabeau, though, the Spaniard may likely face similar problems breaking into the City side ahead of David Silva, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.
However, with Silva already 31-years-old, it has been suggested that Isco could be seen as a long-term replacement and it is believed he would fit in perfectly to the Pep’s system.
Isco has scored six goals and secured five assists so far this season.
