Osho Hails Remo For First Away Point

Published

It was a game of the ‘Fatais’. But it was Remo Stars’ coach, Fatai Osho that found his voice after his boys secured a point in the away match with the better known Shooting Stars of Ibadan handled by Fatai Amoo.

According to Dimeji Daniel, the Remo Stars’ Media Officer, Coach Fatai Osho expressed satisfaction after his side got a vital point on the road in one of Match Day 10 fixtures in Ibadan on Saturday.

Osho saw it as a motivating result for the guys. “It’s a motivating result for us because this is the first time we are getting a result on the road and I am sure the boys will get motivated from this draw to help our season.”

It could have been an outright victory for the team had a goal not been disallowed. But on the disallowed goal, Osho felt he can’t be too certain if the goal was really a goal until a playback of the game.

“I can’t see the playback now but from my position, it looks like a very good goal. I can’t fault the referee until I see the playback but in this case, you can’t crucify him and am glad we got our goal just after the incident.”

“The point we got here serves as a turning point for us and it will motivate us going into our next game.”

“Our next game is against Kano Pillars and we expect nothing but maximum points because we are still at the bottom of the table, if we are to leave that spot we have to start winning games.” Osho disclosed.
