Asisat hits gold in China
Super Falcons and Arsenal Ladies’ forward, Asisat Oshoala may have hit a gold mine following her recent move to China. She will now lace her boots with Dalian Quanjian in the Chinese women’s league.
Asisat, who swells up the number of Nigerian footballers in China, will reportedly get almost seven times her wages at Arsenal Ladies in England.
China is also noted to be doing better in women’s football than England.
Her new manager is Farid Benstiti, who led Lyon to win the women’s league in France between 2007 and 2010. Benstiti also got the team a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
